Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011 is a success!  The party consisted of Mom and Gus, but boy we had a good time.  We spent two days baking, eating, opening presents, swimming, and scooter-ing.  Gus hammed it up for the camera.  He was lucky enough to get a nice Leap Pad from Aunt Amy and Uncle Brian!  And a "big truck" from his Nana and Poppa.  Santa brought him a Buzz Lightyear scooter.  His Aunt T and Uncle Chuck got him the biggest ball you've ever seen (those pictures are to come), and his mom bought him the Tebow gear!  Several others gave him nice presents as well.  Thank you for all who love my son.

I hope who ever is reading this also had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season.  And my present? Other than the sweetest, bestest little boy ever?  A Patagonia down sweater.  It is soooo warm!

On our break from school, I've been try to work out using a video and some weights. Gus decided he'd come try too. But he insisted on stripping down to his wife beater t-shirt and baring his "guns"!

It is that time of year again!

Oh no! Not the snow!  Another brutal winter in a mountain tow.  On the bright side, Gus seems to be adjusting!

Potty trained and Preschool

Gus finished his first full week of preschool. He has moved up from the toddler room. Gus outgrew the toddler room months ago, but in order to move to the preschool room, he had to be potty trained. Well guess what?! He is a big boy now. In order to encourage Gus to continue to "pee in the potty" and to stay in the preschool, I wanted to get him a present. I thought we were going to get a truck, but he had other ideas. He picked out the Buzz Lightyear. You should have seen his eyes light up! He loves playing with his new Buzz as you can see in the video.

Four Corners with the Love Family

We met some friends on a little vacation in New Mexico.  We had a great time spending time with friends!  Gus loves his extended family just like family.
