Gus played the pirate Brown Beard in his school play. He is quite the ham. While some kids had a fear of performing in front of a crowd, Gus excelled. Here he is!

Gus' New Big Boy Room
Gus outgrew his toddler bed. I decided to put him in a full size bed which didn't fit well in his little room. So I moved him to a new room and did some decorating. It still needs some finishing touches and I haven't officially moved his books, clothes and toys, but here is a sneak peak: |

Mud Season

Three Year Old. . . how far Gus has come
What a difference three years can make. Here is my version of a before and after.
Gus' 3-year-old stats:
Height 39.1 inches: 90%
Weight 34.7 pounds: 75%
One Hep A shot later and the pediatrician declared him healthy as a horse.

Happy Third Birthday!
Well, Gus turned 3 on January 17th, but he had his birthday party today. we went to the fire department with his two little buddies from day care. They had a great time. Here are some pictures.

Christmas 2011
Christmas 2011 is a success! The party consisted of Mom and Gus, but boy we had a good time. We spent two days baking, eating, opening presents, swimming, and scooter-ing. Gus hammed it up for the camera. He was lucky enough to get a nice Leap Pad from Aunt Amy and Uncle Brian! And a "big truck" from his Nana and Poppa. Santa brought him a Buzz Lightyear scooter. His Aunt T and Uncle Chuck got him the biggest ball you've ever seen (those pictures are to come), and his mom bought him the Tebow gear! Several others gave him nice presents as well. Thank you for all who love my son.
I hope who ever is reading this also had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season. And my present? Other than the sweetest, bestest little boy ever? A Patagonia down sweater. It is soooo warm!
